Ross is married to Margaret Clark Ross and they have three daughters, all married, 9 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
He is an outdoor writer/photographer and has been published in South Carolina Sportsman, Carolina Sportsman, Traditional Archer, Paddler Magazine, Palmetto Gills and Game and is a former writer of outdoor columns and human interest columns for the Anderson Independent Mail (Scripps). He currently is a contributor to Rethink Rural’s blog (focus on rural property sales). He is also an active blogger on WordPress and Facebook. Ross has 22 books on Amazon Kindle, including several novels, travel guides, and how-to books on hunting and fishing topics.
He is heavily involved in primitive crafts and survival skills and conducts seminars on these topics. He is available for speaking engagements.
Hobbies include: archery, trapping, hunting, fishing, kayaking, camping, photography, travel and almost anything outdoors.
