Philip was born and raised in the upstate of South Carolina. There he fell in love with the outdoors hiking, whitewater kayaking, fishing, and hunting. Along with his wife, Corey, they chronicle the adventures of their family. Philip’s goal is to show families the true side of taking kids in the outdoors. It never goes perfect, but that’s part of the fun. Philip has won awards for his writing in magazines, newspapers, and websites. He also dabbles in videography.
